Geoprobe investigations for Swedish SGU The Geoprobe method gives an overview of soil types, groundwater flow and contaminant distribution. Sweden is the upcoming market for investigations at contaminated sites. Laser maps the seabed for The Norwegian Mapping Authority Sophisticated software allows surveying the seabed from air planes using green laser. This technology has given NIRAS a foothold in the Norwegian market within geodata. Store solar heat for the winter The combination of 37,000 m2 of solar panels, heat pumps and a 62 million liter basin that serves as heat storage halves the energy consumption for the consumers of Dronninglund District Heating. African ports are booming Port terminals in Kenya, Togo, Nigeria and Liberia. Private investments create growth in several African countries, and NIRAS is experiencing rising sales in the port area. Pharmaceutical One-stop shop NIRAS is delivering a vast variety of engineering disciplines for the expansion of a factory for Novo Nordisk. The one-stop philosophy marks a breakthrough in the pharmaceutical industry.
